‘Mad Moxxi’ Borderlands DLC hits Xbox LIVE
Posted by admin in Technology on December 31st, 2009
Stretch and pound your fists together — it’s time to dive into the senseless, yet dangerous world of Pandora again. Borderlands DLC “Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot” is now available over Xbox LIVE Marketplace.
Built to cater to those with a few buddies with a desire to maim and pillage, this second bit of content adds the Underdome, a fresh area that’s host to a loot-heavy tournament with plenty of goons to kill. The DLC also adds an item stash, for those of you unwilling to pawn that rocket-launching shotgun.
The download weighs in at around 500MB and costs 800 Microsoft Banana Dollars.
If you need more than the promise of destruction, check out our piece on the new content featuring Gearbox’s Matt Armstrong’s quote-tastic support.
The PS3 version of the content hits January 7th, while the PC version is slated for a 2010 release.

The Maw is only $5 on Xbox LIVE this day, purchase this thing
Posted by admin in Technology on December 31st, 2009
I’ll admit that I’m a grinch when it comes to the holiday, but I do like the deals. Torchlight for $5 was a brilliant buy, for instance.
Here’s another one for a cool five bucks — Twisted Pixel’s Xbox LIVE Arcade debut The Maw is now only 400 MS Points. Yup, that translates to roughly five human dollars, and that’s a steal if you ask me. Conrad would agree; check out his review to find out why.
The game’s a bit on the “short” side, but don’t act like you’ve anything else to do, especially if you’re still on holiday break. You’re so lazy.

Blood and anger: No More Heroes 2’s official website
Posted by admin in Technology on December 30th, 2009
No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle is just a tiny more than a month away from launch, and it seems that Ubisoft is going to do their best to keep the game on our minds. They just launched an official website for the game, and it’s a pretty fun place to be. It’s got a style that reminds me of playing a broken NES game, except with a lot more swearing.
As for new info, there isn’t much there yet. So far, the “characters” section of the site only features Travis, Sylvia, Shinobu, and Henry, but there seem to be quite a few blank spots in between. There are a few new screenshots though, one of which features the first appearance of Vlad, a ghostly astronaut (or is it cosmonaut?) who may or might not be one of the games proposed 51 bosses. Vlad gets some artwork too,

Bit.Trip 4 is called Bit.Trip RUNNER, has Non Trotski
Posted by admin in Technology on December 30th, 2009
So, the next game in the (totally amazing) Bit.Trip series officially has a name now. It’s called Bit.Trip RUNNER, which has my narcissism-sense tingling like crazy. You see, I worked on a game called Runner, and the creator of the Bit.Trip series reviewed the game for this very site. To think that our game might have influenced him in any way has my heart all a flutter.
Even more flutter-inducing is this tiny bundle of insider info- Bit.Trip Runner wont feature a Mackle Fussybuck. To quote the game’s developers directly;”We don’t have a Mackle Fussybuck, but we do have: Jabol Smabbler, Junior Melchkin, Flyss Whizzle, Mingrawn Timbletot, Leftwise Gestersmek (and a Rightwise one to boot), Hairy Knorkwhisp, and our favorite… The Non Trotski. Basically, we’re makin’ this sh*t up.”
It true folks, basically, they’re making this sh*t up, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Trust me, once you see this game in motion, you’ll understand.
